EquipMax Batteries – 5-Year Limited Warranty

At EquipMax Batteries, we stand behind every battery we build. Our sodium-ion batteries are engineered for demanding commercial, industrial, agricultural, and heavy equipment applications. If your battery experiences a defect in materials or workmanship under normal use, we’ll make it right.

Years 1–3: Full Repair or Replacement

For the first 36 months from the original purchase date:
    •    If your battery is found to have a warrantable defect, EquipMax will, at its discretion:
    •    Repair the battery at no charge, or
    •    Replace it with a new or factory-refurbished battery of equal or greater value if the battery cannot be repaired.

No prorated charges apply during the first three years.

Years 4–5: Limited Pro-Rated Warranty

From month 37 through month 60, if a warrantable defect is confirmed and the battery cannot be repaired, EquipMax will provide a replacement battery at 40% off the current MSRP.

The customer is responsible for 60% of the current MSRP of the replacement battery.

Warranty Covers

This warranty covers defects resulting from:
    •    Manufacturing defects
    •    Defective internal components
    •    Cell failure under normal operating conditions
    •    Internal defects

Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
    •    Accidents or collisions
    •    Abuse, misuse, or neglect
    •    Improper installation
    •    Improper charging or use of an incompatible charger
    •    Over-voltage, reverse polarity, or short circuits
    •    Water intrusion from damaged housings or improper modifications
    •    Fire, flooding, or natural disasters
    •    Cosmetic damage that does not affect performance
    •    Unauthorized repairs or modifications
    •    Batteries used outside published specifications

Warranty Claim Process
    1.    Contact EquipMax Customer Support.
    2.    Provide:
    •    Proof of purchase
    •    Battery serial number
    •    Description of the issue
    3.    Our technicians will perform diagnostic testing.
    4.    If the battery is repairable, it will be repaired and returned.
    5.    If the battery is determined to be non-repairable and qualifies under warranty, a replacement will be issued according to the warranty terms.

Shipping
    •    During the first three years, EquipMax may provide return shipping for approved warranty repairs or replacements at its discretion.
    •    During the prorated warranty period, customers are responsible for shipping costs unless otherwise authorized.

Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser and is not transferable unless approved in writing by EquipMax Batteries.

Limitation of Liability

EquipMax Batteries’ liability is limited solely to the repair or replacement of the battery as outlined in this warranty. EquipMax shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages including, but not limited to, equipment downtime, towing, labor costs, lost profits, or damage to other property.
